2026/27 EIHL Rosters Take Shape with Key Additions and Roster Overhauls

The Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) season is shaping up with several teams finalizing their rosters, including key additions and strategic moves that could influence the competitive landscape. With multiple franchises updating their lineups and defense corps, fans can expect a more aggressive and balanced style of play across the league.

Belfast Giants have added four new players to their defense and forwards, including Jordan Kawaguchi and JJ Piccinich. These additions bolster an already strong defensive unit led by Scott Conway and David Goodwin, who will provide stability in net.

Cardiff Devils have made a splash with the acquisition of Joey Martin and Jake Sacratini on the forward line, while Jimmy Oligny and Nick Welsh are expected to compete for starting duties in goal. This move underscores the Devils’ ambition to compete for a playoff spot.
