Detroit's Tarik Skubal is off to a historic start with a 2.22 ERA and 0.95 WHIP, while Boston's Garrett Crochet has struck out 22 batters in 17 1/3 innings. Tigers shortstop Kevin McGonigle has made a strong impression, hitting his first career home run and making a highlight-reel defensive play in his team's recent series against the Marlins.
