Miami Dolphins general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan has identified tight end Greg Dulcich as a key player poised for a breakout in 2026. During a recent conversation with ESPN’s Kevin Clark, Sullivan expressed confidence in Dulcich's potential after a strong finish to the 2025 season.
Dulcich delivered in the second half of the year, racking up 26 receptions for 335 yards and a touchdown in just 10 games. His best performance came in Week 17 when he caught five passes for 58 yards and his only score, a 11-yard touchdown from rookie quarterback Quinn Ewers in a 20-17 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The 26-year-old signed a one-year, $3.25 million contract with the Dolphins in March, marking the first time he's returned to a team for a second season. Over four NFL seasons, Dulcich has bounced between the Denver Broncos, New York Giants and Miami, playing in just 20 total games and catching 59 passes for 746 yards.
Dulcich was a third-round pick by the Broncos in the 2022 NFL Draft and made an immediate impact in his debut with a 39-yard touchdown reception from Russell Wilson in a Monday Night Football loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. However, injuries have limited his opportunities, with only two seasons in which he reached double-digit games played.
Now under the guidance of head coach Jeff Hafley and offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik, Dulcich will look to stay healthy and solidify his role in the Dolphins’ offense. If he can do so, he may finally reach the potential that has been evident in his flashes across the league.
Sullivan confirmed the team’s belief in Dulcich when he said, “It’s why we brought him back.”
With the Dolphins entering a new era under Sullivan and head coach Hafley, the tight end’s development could be a key factor in the team’s 2026 success. The Dolphins open voluntary offseason workouts this week.
